We are releasing 10 episodes dedicated to difficult topics such as Polish-Jewish relations, the Holocaust, and antisemitism.
The podcast “Voices of Memory” was created as part of the project “Education Against Antisemitism: Learning from the Past to Understand Contemporary Challenges. A Multimedia Educational Kit,” funded by the European program “Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values.”
We are releasing 10 episodes dedicated to difficult topics such as Polish-Jewish relations, the Holocaust, and antisemitism:
Episode 1: A Teacher’s Guide: How to Respond to Challenging Behavior in the Classroom?
An episode dedicated to the psychological challenges of working with difficult topics such as the Holocaust and anti-Semitism. The interviewee is Karolina Marcinkowska (Center for Research on Prejudice at the University of Warsaw, UNESCO Chair for Interdisciplinary Studies on Anti-Semitism and Group Hate at the University of Warsaw). Episode 2: #Holocaust. Can we educate about the past on social media?
An episode dedicated to the challenges of educating about difficult topics on social media, primarily on TikTok. The interviewee is Masza Makarowa. Produced by the KARTA Center Foundation. Masza Makarowa — educator at the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, guide to the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto, author of A Guide to the Former Warsaw Ghetto (2023). At the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, she co-organized an educational project on TikTok and also coordinates an oral history project. Author of numerous presentations popularizing the history of the Warsaw Ghetto. Director of the documentary film The Chief Physician’s Granddaughter (2025), dedicated to the story of Ewa Heller-Ekblad, a survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto and granddaughter of Dr. Anna Braude-Heller, chief physician at the Bersohn and Bauman Children’s Hospital. As a journalist, she collaborates with TVP. She is currently working on a book of reportage dedicated to Anna Braude-Hellerowa.”
